Japan Leads the Way

Perhaps most significantly, the Japanese NonStop community has emerged as an early adopter of GenAI. At TBC 2025, both TIS and JRI presented comprehensive AI initiatives:

TIS launched the Nonstop Community for Generative AI Utilization in Japan, recognizing that the critical shortage of Nonstop talent requires collective action. This community-driven initiative demonstrates strategic thinking about GenAI's role in preserving institutional knowledge and enabling sustainable development practices. Japan Research Institute complemented this approach by showcasing practical GenAI applications using tools like Cursor.

We applaud the foresight of Japan's Nonstop community in forming such forums. We hope that HPE and the US Nonstop community will follow Japan's lead in forming a similar collaborative GenAI community.
