Tele is a prefix that combines the meaning of the phases “reaching over a distance,” “carried out between two remote points,” and “performed or operated through electronic transmissions.” The ‘Tele’ family group technologies of TIC Software – has been designed for application modernization These Messaging products are designed to seamlessly integrate NonStop systems with other platforms via format conversion and data delivery – enabling automated processing and delivery of reports and information and keeping the applications organizations running smoothly.
TeleMail gives NonStop users to deliver information via the Internet to virtually anywhere. Reports and documents archived on the server may be delivered as either an email attachment or in the message itself. Detailed log files and distribution lists may also be distributed for status and statistical reporting. TeleMail can automatically translate information into a variety of formats including PDF, HTML and ZIP files; and requires no external hardware or software as it runs on the server. A Secure option is also available to support SSL and TLS SMTP Protocol.
TeleWeb enable spooler reports to be viewed via a Web browser. Secure data access allows online viewing of server information as soon as data is available. Data may be converted into a number of formats such as PDF, HTML and TXT; and distributed to individuals or groups – securely and automatically. TeleWeb tracks distribution activity for accountability, and saves a secure copy of reports generated as a failsafe.
Even though fax is an old technology, it is far from being obsolete. Fax is still very important in the business world, because it is simple, legally binding, and secure. TIC’s TeleFax application works with legacy systems to provide for automated server information delivery via fax server technology. This highly configurable system supports user-defined options for automated fax delivery timing, cover pages and priority levels – and tracks system status and fax transmission activity. System scalability and flexibility ensure that TeleFax can handle growth without any change to the application.
NonStop spooler reports and files can be automatically transmitted via FTP protocol using TeleFTP freeing up IT time from having to manually configure and accomplish this task. TeleFTP provides for data to be converted into a variety of formats (TXT, PDF, ZIP) for delivery and flexible API is available for customizing for any environment.
